The Jin Garden in Guangzhou

Pacific Asian Plaza will soon welcome a Korean-Chinese restaurant called Jin Jin. According to a representative, this eatery will serve popular Korean-Chinese dishes like jjajangmyeon (famously enjoyed by BTS member RM) and tangsuyuk, a sweet-and-sour pork dish.

Steamed dumplings are soft and silky, encasing succulent seafood morsels in a light natural sea broth. Additionally, their whole-flaked fried fish is quite enjoyable as well.

Lingyan Xieyu Landscape

Lingyan Xieyu landscape features a lotus pond, fish viewing pavilion, and wind pavilion – three features that offer tourists an idyllic stroll along Ruyi Lake’s west side in summer when its lotus flowers bloom fragrantly and the lake shimmers with sunshine.

Alongside its beautiful scenery, Quwo Scenic Spot serves multiple functions, including exhibitions, publicity, and education. Stone carvings, bamboo “Zhao Suijuxians,” and other sculptures convey Quwo’s rich cultural traditions.

Legend holds that Father Jin Houxie renamed Tang State to Jin State due to a river called “Jinshui,” which flows south of the Tang capital. This scenic spot’s waterscape represents Jin State’s history and a fantastic piece of Shanxi landscape art.

Jinshui Bridge is an integral component of the Jinyuan Scenic Area. Consisting of one main bridge and two vice bridges shaped like bows, its existence can be surrounded by ancient locust trees that serve as its backdrop and symbolic representation.

The bridge is an example of functionality and beauty combined in perfect harmony, featuring jade pillars adorned with plum, orchid, chrysanthemum, and bamboo inlay decorations between each post. As an ideal sightseeing location and the best spot for enjoying Ruyi Lake and its surroundings, this is one great attraction not to be missed.

Cuixi Mingqin Landscape

The Cuixi Mingqin Landscape is a traditional Chinese garden plant landscape. As part of the Jin Garden Scenic Area, this garden comprises a stream running northeast from Lingyan Xieyu into a lake, a three-tiered waterfall, and a lotus pond – each offering blooms and bubbling waters that create melodious piano-sound effects for visitors to stroll and unwind in this idyllic spot.

This landscape was designed by Taoist naturalist thought and spanned an area of 185 acres with a green coverage rate of 60%. There are various kinds of plants here, including chrysanthemums, plums, bamboo, and orchids. There are also rock formations and numerous water features.

Jiindu Market is an idyllic setting for dining and shopping. Situated on the east side of Ruyi Lake, this market features 25 bucket arches and beams and contracted square shops – perfect for an outing with family or friends – plus great delicious and budget-friendly food! Not to mention prompt and friendly service: don’t miss wonton soup, fried prawns, and spring rolls on offer here; not forgetting it has excellent reviews on Google!

Jindu Market

Jindu Market is one of Guangzhou’s largest fashion wholesale markets. Boasting advanced management, decoration, and supporting facilities – including passenger and freight elevators, a security monitoring system, a fire protection system, and broadband network access – this building houses middle and high-end fashionable clothing wholesale centers for middle-tier retailers and high-end designer apparel wholesalers. Furthermore, this marketplace features banks, business centers, shipping stations, parking lots, and catering services, offering various transaction methods like wholesale/retail trade, sample orders, monopoly agencies/ franchise agreements, etc.

The food here is outstanding, always freshly prepared and tasty; their wonton soup stands out, while they also provide delicious fried prawns and spring rolls. Plus, the staff here is helpful and friendly too.

“I have sampled Chinese takeout from all across Nassau County, and this place stands out. Family-owned and operated, their food is always delicious! Prices are very fair and portions generous – I will be coming back!” -Kathy G. of Nassau County, New York.

Jinshui Bridge

At Kunming Lake’s Summer Palace on its eastern bank is this 17-arch bridge connecting Nanhu Island and South Lake Island, known as Nanhu-South Lake Bridge. As its longest span in the garden, its railings feature over 500 stone lions posed differently on them; also featured on this bridge is its bronze ox, designed ostensibly as flood control but now more commonly referred to as The Golden Ox.

The ox symbolizes longevity and the power to overcome all difficulties, as one of several ox-related symbols that appear throughout a garden’s sculptures and architecture. Furthermore, this animal represents the Chinese philosophy of harmony between man and nature, wherein humans must co-exist peacefully rather than compete for dominance over its elements.

This bridge boasts a nine-turn design typical of Chinese gardens. These bridges generally lead to ponds or lakes in the garden and are typically constructed out of stone with guard rails for added protection. Their curved shapes allow people to take in views on both sides while simultaneously giving them the experience of walking over water.

This garden bridge is one of the earliest examples of cantilever technology being applied in bridge building, enabling builders to construct complex structures that were lighter and stronger than traditional pier-and-beam designs. Furthermore, this garden bridge serves as an exemplary hybrid bridge design, which blends both aspects into its construction.

This bridge was an essential link for entering China’s Forbidden City – home to China’s central leadership and Great Hall of the People – as well as one of several sites during the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests when government troops killed hundreds; additionally, it is home to a memorial dedicated to all who perished during those protests.

Wengongfang

The Wengongfang (Little Dragon) is an exquisite building created to showcase the splendor and beauty of Jin state. Inspired by water giants of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, its jade pillars with stone inlays featuring plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, and lotus carvings provide an impressive passageway leading to the Jinyuan Scenic Area.

Its artistic conception is striking, drawing visitors’ attention to Quwo culture while at the same time showing its heavy integrity and long history. Additionally, this building encourages moral sentiments by spreading righteousness, thus making this one worth visiting for those interested in Jin culture or visiting scenic areas.
