The Subaru Forester

Subaru Forester cars are perfect for family life. While not offering the highest power or speed, this spacious car provides ample room for everyone in the rear seat while remaining very reliable and offering several safety features to give drivers peace of mind when driving their children around town.

This new generation of the Forester is much larger than its predecessor, providing more room for passengers and cargo alike. Additionally, its drivetrain has become more efficient, though still falling short of hybrid or all-electric options offered by rival vehicles like the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Ford Escape. Even so, its standard 2.5L, four-cylinder engine combined with continuously variable automatic transmission still manages an impressive 32mpg combined efficiency rating, considering such rugged compact SUV capabilities!

Forester offers six trim levels, ranging from the budget-minded Base and Premium trim levels through Limited and Touring and off-road-oriented Wilderness models. Touring trim levels offer added luxury, such as panoramic sunroofs, 10-way power adjustable driver’s seats, onboard Wi-Fi hotspots, and even a Harman Kardon premium audio system with power rear gate capability; in addition, these models also come standard with 17″ wheels and body-color side mirrors for exterior upgrades.

The Subaru Outback

Subaru’s flagship wagon proves you don’t need an SUV to haul around your stuff. While its lifted profile limits cargo space slightly, two rear-facing child seats still fit comfortably in its back row, and all-wheel drive makes off-road trails manageable for all-weather use – something most rivals couldn’t match up to!

Outback stands apart from its SUV competitors with its flat-four boxer engine, which doesn’t clatter when accelerating. That engine provides ample power while working with Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT gearbox to deliver an engaging drive even when carrying lots of cargo.

Miguel and his team at Capital City Subaru recommend choosing one of the higher trims to take full advantage of the 2024 Outback’s latest version of its EyeSight driver assistance system, which uses two cameras to monitor its surroundings and offers everything from adaptive cruise control to lane departure warnings.

The Outback is a reliable car with great value compared to other vehicles. It features attractive and comfortable interior design and offers outstanding value compared with competitors in its class. Its front seats provide enough support without feeling tight after long drives; its standard 2.5-liter engine can tow up to 2000kg, while upgraded models with turbo power can hit 2400kg!

The Subaru Ascent

Subaru Ascent, a three-row midsize SUV, blends family SUV functionality with impeccable reliability, safety ratings, and off-road capability – hallmarks you’d expect from any Subaru vehicle. Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (SAWD), X-MODE, and hill descent control provide exceptional off-road ability. At the same time, its spacious cabin and comfortable ride make it a particular vehicle to spend time in.

Ascent’s powertrain features a 260-horsepower turbocharged BOXER engine coupled with a continuously variable automatic transmission for rapid acceleration – just 6.7 seconds 0-to-60mph! Furthermore, its towing capacity allows up to 5,000 pounds of towing capability with an available class III trailer hitch.

The Ascent boasts an elegant interior featuring an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and a panoramic sunroof, highlighted by a standard eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with eight power settings and a panoramic sunroof as standard features. Other high-tech features include Subaru EyeSight Driver Assistance Technology with a wide-angle mono camera, and automatic emergency braking is standard on all trim levels; other available conveniences include a power liftgate, keyless entry system with Harman Kardon audio system, and retractable cargo net.

Opting for the top-tier Touring model offers unique appearance features and premium amenities like navigation and dual-function X-MODE with SNOW/DIRT and DEEP SNOW/MUD settings to help the Ascent navigate in tricky conditions more efficiently. Plus, with 19 cupholders spread throughout its cabin space, there’s enough room to store beverages while on long journeys.

The Subaru Legacy

Subaru Legacy sedan is one of the last midsize sedans with all-wheel drive technology, a family-friendly vehicle with spacious seating, and an extensive list of standard features. Furthermore, its 2024 Legacy price point puts it ahead of many competing sedans for great value.

It rides comfortably and features an easy-to-use dashboard that won’t distract drivers. Its standard 182-horsepower four-cylinder boxer engine offers modest performance but excellent fuel economy; additionally, it has a continuously variable automatic transmission and all-wheel drive capability.

Upgrade to the Touring XT for a turbocharged 260 horsepower engine that significantly enhances driving dynamics. Active torque vectoring distributes power evenly among wheels to help turn them, giving the Legacy more responsive handling with minimal nose-dive under hard acceleration.

Interior comfort and luxury come together in this vehicle with soft leather seats and an 11.6-inch touchscreen featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an available 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and a dual-screen infotainment system that splits functions between screens for convenient navigation while controlling music volume or voice commanding capabilities.

Subaru Legacy models feature Subaru EyeSight driver-assistance technologies. These include front collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with lane departure alert, and adaptive cruise control with lane centering capability as standard features. An additional lane-centering system may also be added as an optional extra.

The Subaru Impreza

The 2023 Subaru Impreza is a small car packed with personality. Available as either a stylish sedan or versatile hatchback with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and advanced safety features like EyeSight suite.

Active safety functions provide extra eyes and, when needed, feet on the brake pedal. A camera monitors traffic movement to optimize cruise control, alert you of potential frontal impacts, apply full braking force in emergencies, detect if you veer out of your lane, provide steering assistance to stay on course, alert you of potential frontal impacts in advance and alert drivers if frontal impacts may occur; detect when drivers stray out of their lanes and apply full braking force if needed; provide steering assistance to keep drivers on course.

Unlike most compact cars with a flat four-cylinder engine, the all-new Impreza features an innovative boxer configuration to increase performance and fuel economy. This unique design allows pistons to move from side to side, canceling vibrations and optimizing power flow to each wheel. This results in an impressive EPA fuel economy of 38 highway mpg for this incredible vehicle.

The base Impreza 2.0i model begins at just $20,995, yet still offers many useful amenities such as the SUBARU STARLINK(r) 6.5-inch Multimedia with Apple CarPlay(r) and Android Auto(r); rear seat reminder, heated front seats, all-weather floor mats and a 60/40 split fold-down back seat. In addition, its Lineartronic CVT transmission offers automatic gear selection and manual mode controlled by steering-wheel paddle shifters for gear selection.

The Subaru Solterra

Subaru Solterra, its debut electric vehicle from Japan’s premier brand, stands out as highly competitive among similar offerings from other automakers. However, it is inspired by Toyota, with a unique off-road style and excellent on-board technology. Notably, it is also capable on roads, making this a fun way of travel even for those not living in cities!

The Solterra is built on an all-new platform and utilizes a hybridized version of the company’s signature all-wheel drive system, featuring 228 miles on a single charge with its onboard 6.6kW charger rated for fast-charging to 80 percent in approximately nine hours. Additionally, its battery is stored underfloor to lower center of gravity while adding cargo space – though this does require rear seats to sit higher.

Inside, the 12.3-inch touchscreen in the center dash features well-considered menus and is responsive to touch. Standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity come standard on top-tier Touring trim cars; additional perks such as panoramic roof and synthetic leather upholstery come standard for Touring trim cars. In addition, its smartphone app enables remote HVAC preconditioning and locking/unlocking the doors – but does not include complimentary scheduled maintenance plans.

As is valid with its predecessors, Subaru’s Solterra fits neatly into a small four-door midsize crossover SUV/EV Venn diagram where it competes with twin motor versions of Ford Mustang Mach E, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, and Nissan Leaf. It’s an impressive first effort and shows Subaru is not done building rally cars.
